My Testimony

My name is Shantelle Meacham. I am 16 years old and am the daughter of Kim Meacham. I wanted to share my testimony with a hope that it willl strengthen others' testimonies. I know the gospel of Jesus Christ is true. I know that God hears our prayers and answers them in a way that He knows will be best for us. I know for myself that sometimes it can be frustrating when I have prayed and I don't receive an answer right away, or I don't receive the answer that I wanted, but I also know that I have been blessed with the answers I have received. I know that we have a prophet today that leads us in the right way to get back to our Heavenly Father. I love to hear the words of our prophets because I can feel that they are men of God. I know that Jesus Christ is my Savior and that He made the ultimate sacrifice for each of us out of pure love. I know that our Savior showed us the perfect example of living the truth and enduring trials. I know that following our Heavenly Father will ALWAYS bring happiness and joy. I know that we can withstand difficult temptations by staying close to God and doing what we know is right. I know that the scriptures are true. When I read them, I can feel the spirit testifying to me in my heart that they are true and that they were written for us in this day. I know that it is important to let our lights shine so that we can bring others to Christ and show them how He would act. I know all these things to be true. I am so excited to read and write on this blog! I think it is a great idea! Especially as I start my junior year of high school, I know it will be a strength and support for me. Thanks again!
